What is Kacang Puteh???
An old-time snack favourite in Singapore! Instead of popcorn, Kacang Puteh would be purchased from vendors outside the cinema.
"Kacang means beans, while puteh (putih) refers to white in Malay. Originating from India, Kacang Puteh is an assortment of nuts (cashew nuts, peanuts, sugar-coated peanuts), legumes (chickpeas, green peas, broad beans) and crackers (muruku), making a colourful concoction." We will be offering 2 choices: sugar peanuts or a spiced legume mix. We've had to narrow down the available choices to just the two due to time limitations. Both choices are naturally gluten free and vegetarian. There will be limited supplies so first come, first served!
